Dear visitors and stakeholders
It is a pleasure and honour to present to you the Bangladesh Business Council, an organization that brings together like-minded Bangladeshi business people in Dubai, with a common goal and vision to protect the interests of Bangladeshi businesses in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, through harnessing our individual and collective capacities to advance our interests both within and outside Dubai. I humbly thank the Court of His Highness, the Ruler of Dubai, for authorizing the issuance of our first Business Council Permit in October 2011, which allowed us to carry out our activities as the Bangladesh Business Council.
What we do
As the Bangladesh Business Council, we believe in working together to achieve more, and we believe in developing strong, mutually beneficial relationships between Bangladeshi business community and the local communities within which we operate. To this end, we engage with regulatory bodies, and non-profit bodies, such as the Government of Dubai, Department of Economic Development - Dubai, and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, on issues that are pertinent to our operations in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
We also engage with Government and non-Government organizations from Bangladesh, in order to explore opportunities for mutually beneficial relationships.
Collectively Building a Future
We regularly conduct meetings, and host functions aimed at equipping us with knowledge,skills, and exposure, in order to foster the growth of Bangladeshi businesses in Dubai. Our organization is proud to be a competent force within the Bangladeshi business community,and within Dubai. All this would not have been possible without the active participation of our esteemed members, and the support of the Bangladeshi business community.
